- Deliver compassionate, personalized care based on each client’s needs, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and document vital signs, height, and weight as needed.
- Support client comfort and mobility through repositioning and range-of-motion exercises.
- Assist clients with walking, transfers, and reminders for self-administered medications.
- Monitor clients for changes in their condition and communicate concerns to nursing staff.
- Help maintain a safe, comfortable home environment through light housekeeping, meal preparation, and bed-making.
- Welcome and support new caregivers by providing on-the-job training and guidance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current CNA certification and CPR certification required.
- Willingness to travel up to 40 miles within the designated service area.
- Ability to comply with HIPAA requirements and maintain strict client confidentiality.
- Ability to respond appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
Availability & Scheduling
- Guaranteed 5 days a week for 8-hour shifts and assist with emergency on-call as needed.
- Is responsive to assignments and willing to help provide coverage for callouts and vacations.
- Is open to supporting a variety of clients and comfortable working in different home environments, including those with pets or smoking.
- Supplemental office work when field work is not available.
