- Obtain IV access and administer specialty infusions as prescribed.
- Access PICC lines and ports.
- Perform PICC line insertion, care, and maintenance, including sterile dressing changes, flushing protocols, and complication prevention in a home care setting.
- Administer and monitor complex IV and infusion therapies via PICC lines while ensuring patient safety, education, and compliance with Joint Commission and state guidelines.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in accordance with professional standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient care and outcomes.
- Liaise between patients, physicians, and pharmacies as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with all regulatory guidelines.
- Remain compliant and follow strict guidelines.
- Active RN license in the state of practice.
- At least 2 years of experience in Nursing is required.
- Excellent IV skills and PICC line insertion & maintenance are required.
- Previous experience in a home health or acute care setting is advantageous.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
