- Provide skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes.
- Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor vital signs and changes in the child's condition.
- Develop and implement individualized pediatric care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Provide medication administration, treatments, and other skilled nursing interventions as ordered.
- Provide care for pediatric patients with complex medical needs, including G-tubes, feeding pumps, tracheostomies, ventilators, and other medical equipment, when applicable.
- Monitor and provide appropriate care for pediatric patients with feeding tubes and other specialized medical needs.
- Educate and support parents, guardians, and caregivers regarding the child's care plan and medical needs.
- Communicate changes in the patient's condition promptly to the physician, family, and BrightStar Care clinical team.
- Accurately document all assessments, interventions, medications, and patient responses.
- Follow all applicable state and federal regulations, physician orders, and BrightStar Care policies and procedures.
- Provide compassionate, family-centered and age-appropriate care.
- Respond appropriately to changes in the patient's condition and emergency situations.
